Founded in 2009, Mobile Media Summit are the largest mobile media and advertising conference series in North America and Europe. They are not a trade organising conference, but rather bring together the top brands, agencies, and advertisers from around the world to move the mobile industry forward. To date, over 10,000 have attended one or more shows.
Summits and conferences often have a certain rhythm which you have to get into as the photographer – and this event was no different. It required a seamless transition between “shooting from the shadows” during breaks to capture candid shots of the delegates networking, to moving around the very front of the conference room to secure a range of unobscured shots of the key speakers, as well as audience reactions.
Delegates had come from all around the world from top branding agencies, marketing and of course media companies. All listened attentively as speakers gave fascinating talks, and panels of Directors, CEOs and Global heads discussed various topics. Opera Mediaworks Managing Director Mark Slade, Somo Chief Strategy Officer Ross Sleight, Starcom CEO Iain Jacob, and the Co-Chair of Sheppard Mullin were just a few of the experts leading the discussions.
At regular intervals we downloaded medium res copies of photos as jpegs to our client, who used selected images for social media, new feeds and press release throughout the event. Our team back at the office then worked on all the images in post production to be supplied in high resolution.
This was an enjoyable event to photograph and as always the Rosewood provides a great environment in which to capture memorable corporate or event photography. We look forward to attending future Mobile Media Summits.
