The beautiful ballroom at Claridge’s was once again the perfect backdrop for the St Nicholas Party in aid of CLIC Sargent, sponsored by Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. The event helped raising funds for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people – a charity that provide them and their families with clinical, practical, financial and emotional support.
Children and adults entered a magical world where magicians, gingerbread houses, carousels and a giant Yeti (just to list a few) made them become the protagonists of a nordic Christmas tale. St Nicholas’s appearance quickly got all the children’s attention, an occasion for volunteers and entertainers to have a quick break, while every boy and girl was being gifted with toys. At the end, everyone left with delicious sweets, Dolce & Gabbana’s goodie bags and the wicked caricatures by Luisa Calvo; but more importantly this magical night raised £140,000 for a very important cause.
